The terms that govern your use of the Kanobii app and services.
Last updated: May 2025By downloading, installing, or using the Kanobii mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Kanobii ("we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time; your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
Kanobii is a family care coordination app that helps parents and caregivers organize care information, create caregiver handoffs, set reminders, and log care events for children. Kanobii Plus is a paid subscription that unlocks full access to all features.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Kanobii account. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older. The App is intended for parents and adult caregivers; it is not intended for use by or directed at children.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
Kanobii Plus is a paid subscription available on a monthly ($9.99/month) or annual ($89.99/year) basis.
Introductory offer: New subscribers may be offered an introductory price of $1.00 for the first 7 days. After the introductory period, your subscription automatically renews at the standard price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds: All purchases are subject to Apple's or Google's standard refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. You will be notified in advance of any price change and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Free features: Some limited features may be available without a subscription. We reserve the right to change which features require a subscription at any time.
The App is designed to help parents organize care information and symptom notes — not to interpret, diagnose, or treat any medical condition. The Health Check-In feature summarizes what you enter; it does not perform any medical analysis.
Nothing in the App should be construed as medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
You retain ownership of all content you enter into Kanobii, including care notes, profiles, and logs ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to provide the service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. You represent that you have the right to share any information you enter about other individuals (including children and caregivers).
You agree not to:
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KANOBII SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.
